WESTERN CAPE SCHOOLS TEAM STATISTICS FOR THE 2015 SEASON

Please Note

1. This table does not reflect which team is “better” than any other, just how well a team has
    performed during the course of the season in its particular fixtures.

2. The WP Premier A and B “results” and “logs” reflecting only games played against opponents in
    their respective “leagues” appear elsewhere. This has been done simply to provide a
    factual base for those who wish to argue about bragging rights within the province.

3. From the start of this season, match points will be awarded according to standard international
    practice : four points for a win, two for a draw, one bonus point for scoring four tries (TB) and
    one for defeat by fewer than eight points (BL).

4. The Success Rate (SR) is calculated by dividing a team’s total points (Pts) by the number of
    games the team has played. The highest possible success rating is 5.0.

5. Where several sides have the same success rate (SR), those who have played more games, then
    those who have won more games and, finally, points difference (PF-PA) will be used to
    determine the order.

6. A side must have played at least three games to qualify for inclusion in this table.

7. The short Newlands Schools Day games have been excluded from this table, but their data is
    included in the Results section and the Scorers statistics as this is an officially sanctioned
    event.
